Cory Paul Shelnutt

Coach Shelnutt is in his 3rd year of coaching running backs here at Heard County High School. This is his third year coaching Varsity football with a previous stint at Temple High School where he coached the defensive line. He is also the head track and field coach. Shelnutt is an alum of Heard County High School, class of 2005. After high school, he attended the University of Georgia where he was a part of the 2005 Southeastern Conference Championship team. He received a bachelor’s degree in Biology and Masters of Arts and Teaching degree from the University of West Georgia.  Shelnutt teaches science at Heard County. He has two beautiful children, Troy and Hollis.
