Helen Akins

Coach Akins is a 1988 graduate of South Cobb High School in Austell, GA where she is a member of the Athletic Hall of Fame.  After high school, Coach Akins played basketball at Georgia State University and graduated in 1993.  She has been teaching and coaching for twenty five years.  She is currently in her sixth season as the Head Coach at Heard County High School.  Coach Akins is married to Joey Akins and has two sons, Chandler and Jackson.
