Mary Beth Winningham

Before arriving at Heard County, Ms. Winningham was an assistant athletic trainer at Georgia Southern University.  While at GSU, her primary responsibility was providing medical coverage for the football and track and field teams.  

Prior to being hired full time, Winningham was a graduate assistant athletic trainer at Georgia Southern, where she received her Master of Kinesiology with an emphasis in Athletic Training.  As a graduate assistant, she provided athletic training services to football during the 2015-16 season and co-ed and all-girl cheerleading teams during the 2014-15 season. 

Winningham received her Bachelor of Science in athletic training from Middle Tennessee State University in 2014 and her Master of Science in Kinesiology from Georgia Southern in 2016.

Winningham is originally from Livingston, Tennessee and a member of the National Athletic Trainer’s Association along with being licensed in the state of Georgia.
